Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 July 2026

The short version: Gita Focus offers an optional Premium subscription (weekly or yearly, with a free trial). It auto-renews unless you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), govern your use of Gita Focus (“the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to both.

2. The app

Gita Focus helps you build focus by blocking distracting apps until you pause and reflect on a verse from the Bhagavad Gita. Core reflection features are available for free; a Premium subscription unlocks additional features.

3. Gita Focus Premium subscription

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple ID. Current plans:

Where offered, the free trial converts automatically into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same length and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or via the Restore/Manage links in the app.

4. Pricing

Prices are shown in the app and at checkout via the App Store before you confirm purchase, and may vary by region. Apple may occasionally change pricing per its own policies.

5. No refunds from us

All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own refund policies, not by us directly — see Apple's guide to requesting a refund.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Gita Focus only for its intended purpose and not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app or its content.

7. Content

Verse translations and reflections are provided for personal, reflective use. Sanskrit/English source text is drawn from public-domain translations; original reflections and explanations are © Gita Focus.

8. Disclaimer

Gita Focus is a focus and reflection tool, not a medical, psychological, or religious authority. It is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
